Blackburn Woods comprises 2.42ha of beautiful mixed woodland, primarily birch.
It is home to a wide number of wild animal species including:
- Greater spotted woodpeckers
As well as providing a transient resting place for roe deer as they roam the valley.
Opened in 1989 by David Bellamy as place for wildlife conservation and community education, Oak Tree are bringing this area back to life.
