PA to the General Manager (Temporary, Part time)

We are looking to offer a 6 month temporary contract to an experienced and talented person to provide administrative support to our General Manager and Board to ensure the smooth management of day to day affairs and the most effective use of time. You will need to be able to handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position.
Fluent and confident, you will be an excellent communicator, in possession of tact to deal with difficult situations whilst retaining their sense of humour.
Duties will include correspondence with diverse groups including Trustees of the Charity, our supporters, staff and volunteers, the media, local government and councils. You will be expected to take and distribute minutes, undertake research tasks to provide additional information for projects and communicate effectively throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for the management of the General Manager’s diary and Board Calendar which will require the ability to prioritise conflicting time pressures.
You will be competent using Microsoft Office Suite and our databases to produce correct accurate reports in a timely manner. You will, therefore, be self-motivated and able to work accurately with minimal supervision. Confidentiality is essential in this role.
The post is offered over three days at £9.67 per hour.
