Animal Care Assistant

Aimee joined our Animal Team in 2025 after spending a number of years volunteering with us. During that time she became a familiar and valued face around the centre, so we were delighted to welcome her officially onto the team.

Aimee loves all animals, but she has a particular soft spot for sighthounds—especially our wonderful greyhounds. She spends much of her time working in the cattery and kennels, helping to ensure the animals receive the very best care while also supporting volunteers and welcoming members of the public.

Always a ray of sunshine, Aimee consistently goes above and beyond to help both the animals and the people around her. Her positivity, kindness, and dedication make her a much-loved member of the team.

At home, Aimee has a gorgeous whippet called Star. Having previously owned a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, she is also a passionate advocate for bull breeds, something we are always proud to see represented within our team.

Aimee has been an amazing addition to the centre, and the animal rescue world is a better place with her as part of it.
