Receptionist

I began at Oak tree as a volunteer with small animals prior to employment here. I still help out with animal care on a regular basis which I love and I have completed my Level 3 Animal Care qualification.

I have now been a receptionist for just over a year and in that time have felt enormous pride in representing the Charity and seeing such strides we have made in this short time. I am excited to see what will develop in the future. I love my job – the diversity, at the ‘thick’ of it, and not one day is the same. I thoroughly enjoy working with a great team and the animals alike.

It is a great feeling to be helping people from the offset, for example an animal adoption; seeing the process from start to finish. It's always great to welcome back our adopters and their new family members.

I adopted my own cat Ellie, from Oak Tree 5 years ago. She was born on site and she was the smallest of the litter and underweight. Now a 5kg huntress whom I adore! My ‘baby’.
