Health and Welfare
Our Community Team work in practical ways which avoid the need for animals to go into the care of a rescue shelter.
It’s known and acknowledged that animal shelters are very stressful places for dogs and cats, and often they can develop behavioural patterns which become a bar to rehoming them later on.
We help with arranging neutering, to limit further reproduction, so that owners are not overwhelmed with pets in numbers with which they cannot cope. We work with owners to try and remedy minor behavioural issues, often things which form part of an animal’s normal behaviour patterns. Finally, we have a lot of experience working with feral and farm cats, with some incredibly successful interventions under our belt.
