Lake Windermere
Register now for just £20 - Limited places
The Great North Swim is the UK’s largest open‑water swimming event, held over the weekend 12th-14th June 2026, in June at Lake Windermere in the stunning Lake District, bringing together thousands of swimmers from beginners to seasoned open‑water enthusiasts.
Taking part for Oak Tree Animal Charity means your swim becomes more than a personal achievement—it becomes a meaningful way to help animals in need. Not only will you be swimming in a fully supported, scenic open‑water event with a festival feel and safety teams on the water, but you’ll also receive encouragement, fundraising support, and the pride that comes with knowing every stroke helps care for vulnerable animals. Combining a unique challenge with heartfelt impact, the Great North Swim is an unforgettable experience that benefits both you and the animals Oak Tree rescues.
To register simply pay the £20 registration fee, follow the on screen steps to start your fundraising page and get in touch with us at fundraising@oaktreeanimals.org.uk so we can allocate you one of our limited places.
*£200 Minimum fundraising pledge required
