Running the Great North Run for Oak Tree Animal Charity is an incredible way to make every mile matter. The Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon, a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) road race held 13th September 2026 from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields across the iconic Tyne Bridge, with tens of thousands of runners and cheering crowds creating an unforgettable atmosphere. 

By choosing to run for Oak Tree Animal Charity, you’ll not only challenge yourself in this iconic event, but also raise vital funds and awareness to help rescue and care for vulnerable animals—turning your personal achievement into real, compassionate impact.
