Sponsor an animal for only £1 a week! A perfect gift for an animal lover!
Most of the animals we care for find a happy future away from Oak Tree, but occasionally we come across an individual who, through no fault of their own, finds themselves remaining in our care for a long time. This may be for a variety of reasons, be it due to health, or particular behaviour issues. Whatever the reason, the welfare of every animal our charity cares for is our priority.
My name is Matilda and I am a female pygmy goat and have been resident here at Oak Tree since 2013. I am known for being full of character and I admit I am a little bit bossy when it comes to the ponies I share grass with (somebody needs to keep them in order though!).
Hello, my name is Barney. I am an Alpine goat and am known as being the super friendly goat of Oak Tree. I have been here since 2006 and love all the attention I get from people at the charity. My job is to greet visitors and check their pockets for forgotten treats; I take my work very seriously.
Hello, my name is Charlie and I’m known as a big softy! I love cuddles and being groomed. I always look forward to our Pony Fun days as I’m very sociable and I love playing my part in the proceedings of the day.
I really love my food, especially the delicious carrots we get donated.
The reason I’ve stayed at Oak Tree is due to having a skin condition which needs constant monitoring. It seems to be most vulnerable in the spring when I to struggle to keep my skin quality maintained when changing from my winter to summer coat.
I get bathed with a herbal skin conditioner which I don’t particularly like, but I definitely feel better for.
Barney is probably my best friend in the world, but I always have room for more friends. Could you be my perfect sponsor and fantastic new friend?
Red and Blue
Graduate Sponsorship Scheme
Red and Blue are both very inquisitive boys and have come on leaps and bounds since arriving at Oak Tree.
They will be at Oak Tree until we are 4 years old. By their 4th birthdays, if all has gone to plan, they will be broken to ride and ready for a new life ahead of them with a new family. In the meantime they enjoy being looked after by the equine team here at Oak Tree Farm.
Could you sponsor them during their time here? You could play a critical role in ensuring they graduate in time for their 4th birthdays!
Hi my name is Fleur and I am a Pottock Cross. I was born here at Oak Tree in 2009 after my mum was rescued and brought to Oak Tree Farm.
Unfortunately, I can’t be rehomed due to having sarcoids, which are the most common skin tumour in horses, and are considered by many vets as a form of skin cancer. I have had my sarcoids removed but have been told they are likely to reoccur. I enjoy my life here with my friends and being pampered by all the staff at Oak Tree.
Could you be my perfect sponsor and new best friend?
Oak Tree depends heavily on the generosity of our supporters and simply wouldn’t exist without it.
By sponsoring an animal, you are helping ensure all their needs continue to be met.
