Put pen to paper in 2019 to write & submit a 500-word Short Story

Get your creative hat on and celebrate the special bond between animals and humans in just 500 words. There is no age restriction for entry and the stories will be judged within designated age categories. Please either post your 500 words (along with illustrations if you would like to) to Oak Tree Animals' Charity, Oak Tree Farm, Wetheral Shields, Carlisle, CA4 8JA or email your entry to fundraising@oaktreeanimals.org.uk. Please ensure you provide your full name, contact details and an indication of your age, when submitting your entry.

By entering the 500 Word Competition, you are giving Oak Tree permission to publish your story, along with your name. Please note, only the top 110 stories will be published and receive a Golden Ticket, but all entries will be read and appreciated!

Please note the DEADLINE for submissions is October 1st 2019
