Bubbles and pals
- Status - Reserved
- Neutered - Yes
- Vaccinated - Yes
Meet Bubbles, Snapjacks and Sgt Meowenstein. They are 3 kittens born around 1st June, and were handed in to us aged around 4 weeks old, without their mother. They had been found on a farm. We anticipate they may be ready to go to new homes around 5th August.
We have been working extensively with them to acclimatize them to being happily handled. We are getting there but will be looking for homes that can continue the gentle handling on a regular basis. They all have their own personalities.
Sgt Meowenstein (black and white female) has improved greatly, although still shy. She relaxes whilst being stroked so we are confident, in the right home she will flourish. It will take time and gentle and often handling.
Snapjacks (female) has come on so far to when she first came in. She will still give a warning hiss but as soon as you stroke her or gently pick her up, she starts to purr and shows signs she is loving all the attention. She is still a work in progress.
Bubbles (female) is the boldest of the 3, and very comfortable playing with you, and being handled.
We will be looking for homes with someone around a lot of the day to help to continue their regular handling. They may be able to live with a friendly dog or cat. They are scheduled to have 1st vaccinations on 27th July and neutering on 29th July. If they go to new homes before their 2nd vaccination, you must be able to commit to coming back to us on a specific date to see our vet for the 2nd vaccination.
Bubbles could live with younger children but it absolutely must be a quiet home with children who are respectful and understand that she will need gentle handling.
Snapjacks and Sgt Meowenstein could possibly live in a home with older children (13+), with the same proviso as Bubbles above. Gentle, regular and quiet sympathetic handling in a quiet environment will help their confidence.
- Owner able to give very regular time to handling them in a calm way
- Possible with quiet children - read info for each cat above
- Quiet area away from busy roads
- Not too far away as need to bring them back for 2nd vaccinations
Please email in the first instance to: firstname.lastname@example.org Rather than click on the link, you may need to copy the email address manually into your email 'To' box, as some people report that the link does not work for them. Please include your full name, address and contact numbers and tell us a bit about yourselves, and why you think your home is right for one of them.
Interested people will be sent a pre adoption form (if not previously filled in) and asked to send 2 forms of ID. A letter or tenancy agreement that shows you can keep pets will also be required if in rented accomodation.
WE HAVE MORE CATS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our cats looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
