Description

Say hello to 1 year old Hilda!

This lovely lady is very affectionate but she can be shy with new people and takes her time to warm up to you, Once she has decided she likes you she will rub her head against your hand for head scratches. She can be wary of sudden movements and loud noises so we believe she would be better suited to a quiet home environment. She is used to having outdoor access and enjoyed spending lots of time exploring the outside world so would like this in her new home.

Hilda currently shares a pen with her sister Zelda, they could be homed as a pair as they are fine in each others company however, they do spend a lot of time in separate areas of the pen and are not bonded so we would consider homing them separately. whilst Hilda has lived with other cats in her previous home, she has been rather unfriendly to any new cats she has met, we believe she would prefer not to live with other cats except Zelda.

As Hilda is a shy girl we believe she has the potential to live with children 8+ who understand she may need time and space to adapt to her new home and depending on successful viewings here at Oak Tree.

WE HAVE MORE CATS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our cats looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
