Meet Simba and Bear...

These two boys are a bonded pair who are looking for a lovely home together. Both are very friendly and enjoy company. Bear is the bolder of the two and is interested in everything! Simba is a little quieter and curious. Bear is approx 8 months old and Simba is approx 1 1/2 years old.

The boys have only lived indoor before but they would benefit from the opportunity to experience the outdoors. Their new home will need to be away from busy roads, and will need a suitable outdoor space attached to the house for them to explore.

Bear and Simba could live with young children who will be respectful of the fact that they will need quiet time and to know to leave them alone when they need to sleep. They have both lived with dogs before and we would consider rehoming them with a calm, cat savvy dog on a case by case basis.

If you'd like more information please email telling us your name, address, contact number and a bit about yourself.

Have you considered getting a cat but are worried about them getting lost or injured on roads? Have you heard of a Catio? They provide an outdoor space, normally attached to your house, so that your cat can have safe outdoor time. They can be as simple or elaborate as your budget allows. Just Google CATIOS for more information. Or check out our partner ProtectaPet at for cat fence barriers, enclosures and catios.   Use the promo code OAKTREE for a discount for you and a donation to Oak Tree Animals' Charity.

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our cats looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
