DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF ENQUIRIES WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ANY MORE APPILCATIONS FOR FRANKIE UNTIL WE HAVE PROCESSED THE ONES ALREADY RECIEVED (1/9/21)
Frankie has just arrived at Oak Tree & is still under assessment so the following information may change as we get to know her.
Frankie is a one year old Rottweiler who arrived at Oak Tree through no fault of her own. Her favourite things to do is to go in our secure paddock to play fetch with the tennis ball. She also loves going for walks with our other dogs, Keeva and her and best friends.
Frankie could potentially live with another dog but this would depend on meetings here at Oak Tree. We will only consider homes with female or neutered male dogs. We are unsure at this stage if Frankie can live with cats but this is something we will be testing. We have noticed that Frankie seems a little unsure about our horses on site so we are currently working with her to help her build her confidence around novelty things.
Frankie is a big girl weighing nearly 45kg, any potential adopters must be willing to keep her on a strict diet to help get her back down to a healthy weight. Due to her strength and size, she can be strong on the lead. We are currently following a training plan and her loose lead walking is coming along brilliantly but she will need an owner who is confident handling her.
Frankie is looking for a spacious home with a secure garden where she can spend time off lead. As she has never lived with children and is a big boisterious girl we would prefer to home her to an adult only/older children home.
If you are interested in Frankie please email us at email@example.com with your name, telephone number, and any relevant information about why you think Frankie would be a good match for you.
WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
