More about Me
Can Live with Another Dog
Locksley is an energetic and cheeky chappie that is looking for a quiet home with experienced owners. Locksley is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is eager to please but can get over-excited and will need continued training in his new home.
He would be best suited to a home without young children as when excited he will jump up and mouth. He is dog-social so could potentially live with another dog but this would depend on the existing dogs temperament.
He would need a home that can provide him with a secure garden and where he will not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. Potential adopters should be aware that time left alone will likely have to be built up from scratch.
Locksley is quite a vocal dog - he enjoys barking and will howl on command!
Potential adopters would have to be willing to visit Locksley at least a few times to help create a good bond.
WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
