Description

Meet Norman, short but stout. This handsome boy with rather large ears is looking for a new home. He has a wonderful personality, very excitable and adores getting out for walks and having time off lead in a secure paddock. He can be very eager to play with other dogs, being young and bouncy so will need someone to continue his basic training and continue to socialise him. He is foody and likes toys which is very beneficial for him going forward with training as he is eager to please.

Norman travels well in his crate in the car or van and is great to handle, you can pick him up to put him in the crate, well mannered at his vet appointments and has met children over 10 years old with no concerns just very enthusiastic. Although we see him active and playful, we are very confident that once in a home,  Norman will have his snoozy sofa side where he likes to get cosy with you. He will make someone a wonderful loyal dog. He could live with children over 10 years old who are comfortable around dogs, potentially a female dog pending successful meets but he would be quite happy as the only dog in a home. It would be beneficial but not essential to have a secure private garden.

If you are looking for an adventure buddy, for long walks and road trips then Norman may be the dog for you. He will need someone who is happy to do basic training and understands he can be strong on lead at times. Please apply today if you feel you would be a good match.

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
