Obi is the second largest of the litter. He is quite confident and happy to go exploring. He loves to follow you around to see what you are doing too. He could be homed as an only dog or with company.

Obi came to us in mid December with his 6 brothers and sisters, aged approximately 5 months. They came from a farm environment so have not had the usual upbringing within a home setting. We have been working with them daily as a group and individually to get them used to being handled by a variety of people, playing with toys, wearing a collar and being walked on a lead.

The puppies will all need homes that have either had experience of raising a puppy, or are willing to learn possibly by enrolling in puppy classes, as they are at a formative age where they need training and guidance. We will home them with guidance notes which outlines the training we have been giving them. They will need owners who will only be away from home for periods up to 2 hours initially. The puppies will need secure gardens that they can explore in safely.

We are now inviting adoption applications so that people can come and discuss their potential suitability. In the event adopters are successful, the puppies will not be ready for collection until early January, although adoptive families would be encouraged to come and spend as much time beforehand with their chosen puppy.

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
