- Separation training
- Someone at home a lot of the time
Teddy is a lovely boy who loves getting loads of cuddles, playing with toys and going for walks.
Unfortunately Teddy has been returned to Oak Tree because of separation anxiety.
He gets very distressed when he is left alone.
Because of this Teddy needs a family home children (10+) where there is always someone at home.
His new family will need to work on his separation anxiety so if there is any time that no one is at home Teddy won't feel stressed.
When Teddy was last with us he was very reactive to lots of things like traffic and other dogs.
While being in a home Teddy and his owner worked really hard with his training and he is like a new Teddy. This training still needs to be continued by his new family, so he can continue being a super Ted.
Teddy could potentially live with another dog, all depending on how he reacts to the other dogs at meet ups on site.
WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
