Description

26/3/2021 NO MORE ENQUIRES- as of 16:00 we will be taking no more enquires whilst we work through the ones we have already received.

Sweet William is looking for his furever home. He’s currently living with one of our wonderful foster families and they describe him as follows:

William is a loveable chap who will be a cherished addition to any home. He adores snuggles and will make it known if we’ve gone too long without a cuddle on the sofa.

He has quickly learnt that sitting on command and toileting outside results in yummy treats. He is pretty good with house training, just sometimes does a little wee when very excited.

He is such a smart lad! He has now got 'paw' nailed, and he’ll sit and offer his paw to anyone he meets in hope of treats.

He is sleeping in the crate for roughly 8 hours but does need someone to sit next to the crate for 10 minutes while he settles.

All puppies can be bitey/chewy and William is at that stage at the moment. He’s learning what he is and isn't allowed to chew and he absolutely loves being given a carrot to chew for the day!

William’s only dislike is the scary feather that blew across the garden one afternoon, and the hoover. although he can at least stay safe on the sofa :)

William is approx. 6 months old and looking for a home where his new family will continue with all the good training his foster family have started.

He’ll need a family who have lots of time for him, to keep him mentally and physically exercised. William is likely to grow quite a bit bigger than he is now and potential adopters need to consider if they can accommodate a large dog.

He won't be rehomed with cats as he finds them too exciting and likes to chase them!

William's new home will ideally have good outside space to let him play, run around and continue with the good toileting habits he's learnt.

If you think you meet William's rehoming needs and would like more information please get in touch.

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
