Getting ready for Give a Day!

Today, we are meeting with Carlisle College and Robert McAlpine representatives who are just two of the amazing local businesses supporting Give a Day Carlisle this year. Give a Day Carlisle, is a day coordinated by the GAD team, where local business come together with Third Sector organisations to make a real difference to our community. Next week will see the projects come to life as we welcome volunteers from, not only Carlisle College and Robert McAlpine, but also Cartmell Shepherd, Cumbria Police, Trinity School and the Cumberland Building Society (among other awesome businesses). They will be carrying out a wide a range of projects including creating outdoor and indoor training spaces for our dogs, clearing overhanging branches from the kennel area, painting our equine intake block and helping with woodland maintenance in our community woodland. We can't wait to work with them and will keep you updated next week about the amazing work they are doing.
