Puppy Play Date

19th September 2019

Today Becky (our community engagement supervisor) and Caz (our intake team leader) visited a household who had recently taken on a dog but was not aware that she was pregnant. Fast forward two months and mum has done a great job with her SEVEN Lurcher pups. Today’s visit wasn’t all cuddles though, (well ok, there was plenty of cuddles to go around for these beautiful 6 week old puppies), this visit was used to offer advice on how to give the pups the best start in life. This included introducing them to game based training - in short bursts as puppies need plenty of rest! Including dietary discussions, acclimatising to daily life and rehoming.
