Summer Fair Draws in the Crowds!

Over 1,000 people visited Oak Tree on Saturday to explore the delights on offer at our annual Summer Fair. Events included a Fun Dog Show, Flyball demonstrations from Carlisle Canine Flyball Team, craft stalls, plant and cake sales, treasure hunt and a children’s drawing competition that saw over 190 entrants from around Cumbria.

The Oak Tree team would like to thank everyone, human and canine, who came to support our summer fair which raised over £4,000 for animals who need our help in our community. The weather was amazing and we were delighted to see so many of our supporters, volunteers and ex-residents of Oak Tree at the event.

As a charity, with no government funding, we rely on events such as these and our fabulous donors to be able to carry out the work we do making a real difference for animals in our region.
