Tearoom Assistant Vacancies

Seasonal Tearoom Assistant - must be able to work weekends 25 hours.
Part-time Tearoom Assistant - must be able to work Sundays and Mondays.
With outstanding views over the fells, Oak Tree Animals’ Charity Tearoom offers a great range of drinks, cakes and light snacks.
We are looking for flexible individuals who are willing to assist in a customer-facing role in our friendly Tearoom at the heart of Oak Tree Animals’ Charity. The Tearoom is a great meeting point for individuals and families, and the staff in our Tearoom help to create an atmosphere where people enjoy good food and drink, while helping the animals in our care.
Duties include:
- Customer service/table service
- Preparing drinks and food
- Making teas and coffees using the coffee machine
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Serving and clearing tables
- Working the till and taking orders and payments
- Keeping the Tearoom and entrance clean and tidy
- Sorting donations on our quieter days
You will need to have a real interest in people and be a good communicator, able to work under pressure in busy times, and willing to work as part of team. Full training given.
