I firmly believe that every animal matters, along with every owner. With my background of over 15 years in animal welfare, Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling (MSc), education (PGCE) and animal charity management, I have seen many animals and owners suffer unnecessarily through lack of support, advice, finance or education. Every time it happens it is completely heart-breaking. My passions are keeping pets and owners together, and finding unwanted pets loving new homes.
Working in animal welfare is not a job, it is a lifestyle choice. At Oak Tree our team have a shared vision, an amazing reason to get up in the morning, to make a real difference to human and animal lives. I am proud to lead such a dedicated team of professionals, both staff and volunteers, without whom we would be unable to help so many.
When not in work, I can be found with my husband and our fabulous dogs (Sam, Rosie and Poppy), cat (Jingo) and horse (Mac) enjoying this beautiful area that I am privileged to live and work in.
