Leona

Animal Care Assistant

Leona joined our Small Animal Team in August 2025 and brings with her several years of valuable experience in animal rescue. She has a strong background in assessing and handling a wide variety of dogs, particularly in her previous work transferring stray dogs to rehoming centres across the country.

Dedicated and hardworking, Leona is a great addition to the team. She has a natural way with animals and is passionate about giving them the best possible care.

Outside of work, Leona enjoys exploring the outdoors with her spaniel, River. Whether it's fell walking, camper van adventures, or playing shinty back home in Scotland, she's always on the go.

We're thrilled to have Leona on board and look forward to her continuing her mission to help animals in need.
