Lynne is a chartered insurance broker working for TL Dallas & Co Ltd in Cockermouth.   Lynne looked after the insurance portfolio for the Animals’ Refuge and Oak Tree for over a decade and brings that knowledge, along with 30+ years’ insurance experience, to the board of Trustees.

I’m Cumbrian born and bred and have always tried to support our local animal charities.  Having owned many relinquished pets I hope that I can understand the challenges that they bring but also the joy that comes from giving an animal a second, or sometimes third, chance and building that special bond with them.  Amongst their objectives Oak Tree strives to ensure that animals not only find loving homes but that they can remain there for the rest of their lives and that requires considerable skill and support which I see in abundance here from Caroline and her team.  

I’m very proud to be able to support Oak Tree and help in whatever ways I can.
