Pony Care Day (9 to 12 year olds)

Come along to enjoy a full day of pony care activities!

This experience day is suitable for children aged 9 to 12 years old.

The day involves learning about yard routines, making feeds and understanding different feed types. Activities will also involve grooming and health checking horses, body condition scoring, weighing horses, walking the donkeys and giving enrichment to our equines.

Requirements:

• It is important to arrive 10 minutes before the event is due to start to ensure the event can begin on time.
• Please bring weather appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes / wellies and a packed lunch.
• Parents / guardians are advised to remain on site or close by throughout the duration of the day. They are welcome make use of our wonderful site and Tearoom (open 10.00am to 4.00pm).
