PLEASE NOTE: Due to Rickerby Park being under water following the recent persistent rain, we have had no option but to postpone this event.
*We shall certainly reschedule the event, so please look out for details on Facebook or this website*
Join us in Rickerby Park Car Park on Saturday 13th April at 11.00am to take part in our Great Volunteer Dog Walk! Our wonderful volunteers are hoping to raise money and enjoy the fresh air together.
If walking isn't your thing there are still other ways you can get involved too!
The Route
- We start in Rickerby car park
- Over the high path through the little garden to Eden bridge
- Over the bridge, then under towards Bitts Park.
- All the way around Bitts Park, back under the bridge towards the Sands Centre
- Along the river past the Sands Centre
- Across the mental bridge near the golf course
- Past the memorials in Rickerby and back to the car park.
Extra Information:
- Dogs must be on a lead throughout
- Wear a splash of orange
- If you are unable to walk the route but would like to be involved, we will have a small stall at the car park.
