Oak Tree Animals Charity Sees 102% Increase in Animals Homed so far in 2025

6th May 2025

In a remarkable display of community spirit and compassion, Oak Tree Animals Charity has reported an astonishing 102% increase in the number of animals successfully homed so far in 2025. Since the charity restructured under new CEO, Matthew Notter, the number of rehomed cats has risen by 59%, while the number of rehomed dogs has increased by an amazing 223%. This achievement not only highlights the charity's tireless efforts but also underscores the critical need for ongoing support from the public to continue their vital work.

The increase is a testament to the dedication of the volunteers and staff who work relentlessly to provide shelter, care, and rehabilitation to animals in need. With the launch of numerous adoption drives, partnerships with local businesses, and enhanced outreach initiatives, Oak Tree is looking to significantly expand its capacity to find loving homes for animals in need. Every animal successfully adopted represents a life transformed and a family enriched with the joy of companionship.

However, the journey does not end here. With the surge in adoptions comes the ongoing challenge of care, rehabilitation, and providing necessary resources for animals still in need of homes. The charity relies heavily on donations, grants, and volunteers to sustain its operations and expand its impact. Regular funding is essential to maintain their facilities, provide medical treatments, and ensure that all animals receive the love and attention they deserve while awaiting their forever families.

Community involvement is critical to the charity’s future success. Local residents can help by volunteering their time, fostering animals, and participating in fundraising events. Donating – whether it’s monetary contributions or donated goods for the Charity shops – can significantly influence the lives of many vulnerable animals.

As Oak Tree Animals Charity celebrates this monumental achievement, they invite the community to join them in their mission. Together, with continued support and compassion, they can build on this success, ensuring that no animal is left without a home. The need is greater than ever, and every effort counts in the fight to provide comfort, care, and companionship to animals seeking their place in the world.
