Oak Tree Animals’ Charity has been caring for animals for over 110 years. During that time there have been many changes in animal care and how the Charitable Sector is organised. Whilst caring for animals has always been our prime concern, we have constantly evolved so that we are able to offer the best care for our animals and utilise today’s fast moving technology to raise the funds necessary to do so.

We are seeking an ambitious and talented Events Fundraiser to work within our Fundraising Team, overseeing and coordinating fundraising events and ensuring we continue to build our supporter network through engagement with events – both on and off site -  inspiring our current supporter network and attracting new support.

You will use your knowledge of organising successful fundraising events to host a series of well-established Oak Tree on-site events, as well as demonstrate your ability to gain support for Oak Tree sponsorship challenge events, which you will be responsible for organising and overseeing. You will be expected to use your networking skills to help establish Volunteer Support Groups who will, through hosting events throughout the community,  further boost the events income for the charity whilst raising our profile.

To succeed in this post you will have at least (ideally) two years’ experience in a events fundraising role where you will have honed your networking and organisational skills, and will have a portfolio of achievements which demonstrate your ability to devise and deliver excellent ROI within challenging timeframes.
