Over the years I’ve had many different pets, from goldfish to guinea pigs, so have always loved having an animal around. Now I have a Labrador called Rosie, and my favourite thing to do is to take her with me when I go out walking the fells in the Lake District. We also took her to training classes at Oak Tree which were amazing for her confidence as she is quite an anxious dog, and still take her up there from time to time which she loves!

I have been visiting Oak Tree since I was little so to be able to join the team has been great. All the staff and volunteers are so friendly and helpful, and it is a very welcoming environment.
