Fundraising Officer

From the day I was born, our home has always had some kind of animal in our family life.  Being the youngest girl of 9 siblings meant the home was always busy and full of people and animals.  My oldest brother was always bringing a stray dog/cat home or maybe a tadpole or newt to put in the bath in the garden!!!

Before moving to Cumbria in November 2022 I lived in Shropshire where I had a little bit of land and kept a couple of Pygmy goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, a cat called Piglet and 2 Springer Spaniels.  Sadly the Springer Spaniel passed away and we now have Jeff the gorgeous Springer Spaniel who is 2 years old and Noodles an adorable kitten.

I joined Oak Tree as a Fundraising Officer in February 2023, such a dream come true being able to work for an animal charity and make a difference to help vulnerable animals.

My spare time is spent walking for miles with Jeff and hubby, I also adore dancing and Yoga and shopping with my daughter.
