Small Animal Rehomer

I have always had a passion for animals and my childhood memories are all centered around them. I was regularly bringing waifs and strays home. I enjoy walking on the fells with my retired Trailhounds, Woody and Meg, and usually have a temporary foster dog living with me too.

I love getting to know the individual personality of each cat and dog that comes into Oak Tree, then matching them to their perfect home. Some of the animals need a bit more help from us, and it is very rewarding to be part of their progressive journey.

I feel it is so important that the charity also sees the ‘bigger picture’ and looks at tackling animal welfare issues at the core, and taking training and solutions out into the community.
