Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at Balmoral yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, following her historic 70-year reign. As the country entered a 10 day period of national mourning, we confirm the postponement of an event scheduled to take place at Hammond’s Pond in Carlisle, on Saturday 10th September between 11.00am – 3.00pm.
Oak Tree’s General Manager, Caroline Johnson, stated, “The decision to postpone the event was made as a mark of respect for Her Majesty The Queen; a truly remarkable Head of State, Patron of many charities, who also held a lifelong passion for animals. We send our deepest condolences to the members of the Royal Family.”
