Tack Shack Volunteer
With the development of our Tack Shack, a charity shop dedicated to the sale of second-hand equine tack and pet equipment, Oak Tree Animals’ Charity are looking for volunteers to help sort, repair (if necessary) and sell the tack and equipment.
Whether you are able to give us two hours a week or twenty, your contribution will help raise vital funds for the animals in our region who need our help
The role will include:
- Checking sorting and preparing items for sale
- Repairing items where necessary
- Researching the value of items and pricing products to secure the best prices
- Visual merchandising and replenishing stock on the shop floor
- Selling items in the Tack Shack
- Administrative tasks such as stocktaking
You will need to have/be:
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A knowledge of tack and pet equipment or a willingness to learn
- Able to provide a high quality sales service to customers
- Good communication skills
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- An interest in raising money to help Oak Tree Animals’ Charity
You will gain:
