Being part of Carlisle
14th March 2019
Oak Tree Animals' Charity moved to Carlisle from London in 1939 at the outbreak of the Second World War amalgating with Alfred Brisco's Carlisle Animal Friends' Society. Our association with our home city of Carlisle continues to this day and we value our relationship with this wonderful city, its residents, its visitors and perhaps most importantly its animals. We were therefore delighted to be invited by the Mayor of Carlisle to her Annual Civic Dinner to celebrate our city and it's community spirit. The night was a real celebration of the amazing community work that takes place throughout Carlisle and we were honoured to be included as part of this.
