A visit to Lancaster University

Caroline (our General Manager) and Sarah (our Fundraising and Communications Manager) had a great meeting with a team of final year Marketing students from Lancaster University today. As a Charity, it is absolutely vital that every penny we have is used to best effect, and this keen group of students are working to help us improve the effectiveness of our event marketing. This in turn will help us engage with more of our community to help us raise funds for our work and, for the students, give them a chance to work on a real-life project gaining invaluable experience for the workplace. In today's initial meeting, the team spoke about our events programme and the breadth and generosity of our amazing supporters amongst other elements. We look forward to working alongside them with this project and seeing the benefits of their work to help support animals in our care.
