Visit to BBC Radio Cumbria
13th February 2020
We were extremely grateful to BBC Radio Cumbria who invited us in today to help raise awareness of the alleged puppy farm which has masquerading as a legitimate animal charity. While more formal investigations are carried out by the authorities, we want to raise awareness throughout our community to prevent anyone being duped by these fraudsters.
Caroline, our General Manager went to do the interview with BBC's Caroline Robertson along with Rachel and Floyd, a labrador X husky, adopted from Oak Tree in 2018. We really enjoyed our visit and were able to talk about the benefits of adoption, how to avoid unscrupulous puppy providers and how to identify legitimate breeders. Floyd thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone while playing with his squeaky giraffe and playing "hunt the treat" around the studio!!!!
