Storms Corrie and Malik Wreak Havoc!

The force of Storms Corrie and Malik were very much felt at our site over the weekend and left devastation in their wake.

As so aptly put by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz: “The wind began to switch / The house, to pitch / And suddenly the hinges started to unhitch” – well that’s exactly what happened with two of our field shelters over the weekend! The worst hit shelter literally took off, and landed on its roof - not before ploughing through our main dog paddock field and causing significant damage to the fence! No red shoes have been found though…(yet, anyway).

Thankfully the damage wasn’t quite as extensive as first thought, but our Facilities Team are being kept very busy making repairs and bringing order back to site.
