Oak Tree at Keswick Mountain Festival

Caroline (GM) and Mike (Community Officer) were invited to speak again at the Keswick Mountain Festival 2022 by the BMC about Dog Safety in the Fells.

We had a fabulous audience (despite the rain) who were really engaged with our team and asked loads of questions. Mike and Caroline spoke about route planning, equipment, first aid, preparation and all aspects of trying to keep you and your dog safe while out and about in the hills.

We're really excited to have authored 2 articles on this topic too for BMC which will be appearing on their website shortly - hopefully we can improve the safety of our dogs as they enjoy themselves on their adventures! Keep an eye on our updates as we develop our "Choose to Lead" programme. Also, huge thanks to the National Trust and Forthglade for donating some treats for our Oak Tree dogs!
