Bioblitz - a bugtastic success!

We welcomed over 80 people to our 2nd ever Bioblitz event - and what a day we had! 

Lots more species were discovered and the experts from Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre (CBDC) were informative and helpful as ever. Not only were there Bug-finding tours, but there was plenty of creativity in the form of Woodland Crafts too - from dreamcatchers to bug hotels and bird feeds. 

Thank you again to everyone who came along and enjoyed a lovely day in Blackburn Wood. Huge thanks too to the team from CBDC for providing their expertise, and our fabulous volunteers who were as helpful as ever.
