Never Forgotten (Page 3/3)
Pets are like family, and saying goodbye can be one of the hardest things we do. Our pets live on through our memories, and because of this, will never be forgotten.
Cloud Owned by Judith and Stuart Swinsco
Cloud was a 3 legged black Lurcher. We only had 2 1/2 years together before tetanus took him from us in November 2017.A gentle soul, he became a therapy dog and worked in various care homes and who gave companionship and comfort to all his elderly friends, a dog loved by both his family and everyone who came into contact with him. The loss of our companion and “pal” has left a hole in all our lives, a dog in a million, our pride and joy. Judith & Stuart (Mr & Mrs Cloud)
MerlinOwned by Janet
In loving memory of a truly remarkable member of our family who joined us 14 years ago when he was abandoned by his owners. His strong but sweet nature trained several rescued greyhounds in good behaviour around cats and he was respected and loved by all. Will never forget his spirit of adventure, agility and cuddles. Sweet dreams little man.
MeganOwned by Diana
Megan our beautiful German Shepherd Rotti cross. Came to us from a Tyneside rescue centre in 2009. She had been abandoned and was under weight. Amazingly in spite of her poor start' she was everything a dog should be: lovable, friendly, lively, but always protective and full of enthusiasm for life. Always smiley faced. Loved her walks and could've easily outwalked me even after going miles. Barked to get in from the garden and barked to get out, barked to be fed, and barked to get doogie treats and was always interested when the fridge door opened! Liked a bit of a ham treat alongside her cat companions. She lived amicably with my 5 cats! LOL! Intelligent and loving. We miss her particularly for announcing the arrival of the postie and for her unique way of quiet woof chatting to us whilst in her basket. Sadly put to sleep on 27th December due to liver disease. We miss her lots.
Hamlet Owned by Johnston family
With great sadness we said goodbye to Hamlet in July. We only had him for two years but he brought us a lot of joy and happiness in that short space of time. We all miss him so much, his grumpy ways, sneaking upstairs to sleep on the pillows and his cuddles but we were so lucky to have had him in our lives.
WoodyOwned by Caroline
In memory of one of my best friends that it has been a privilege to know. Cantankerous, stubborn, obstinate and sublimely wonderful he had an amazing character and would do anything for his bucket! We've had many adventures since I was a child and throughout my adult life. RIP my wonderful Woody Woodpecker
RobynOwned by Maria, Mary, and adopted brother Sparky
Thank you for letting us have thirteen wonderful years with Robyn. She had been with you since July 2003, she was a stray. Robyn joined us in January 2004 and sadly passed to rainbow bridge in February 2017. We would like to thank you for looking after her for several months. Robyn was a loving and very loyal dog who enriched all our lives. Robyn was a black and tan lively crossbreed and sadly some people overlook black dogs, especially with some staffy in there. Robyn, you may be gone from this life but you will never be forgotten. Good bye for now sweetheart, till we meet again, we love you always. Sadly Robyn has now passed away, she had cancer, but we had thirteen wonderful years with her. Robyn was a loving and very loyal dog who enriched all our lives. She did a few naughty things which we laugh about. We say to people, yes she was black in colour but you couldn`t ask for a better dog, and we loved her very much and still do. So we would like to thank you for enabling us to have all those wonderful years with Robyn
