Description
Meet handsome Hamish. Hamish is a 6 year old, neutered German wirehaired Pointer who is looking for his new forever home. Please note, Hamish can not live with dogs, cats or children.
Hamish has always lived in a home, is house trained, crate trained, travels well in the car and loves a cuddle. Hamish can struggle being left at first so will need someone to gradually build up his time being left. Hamish is a strong dog who enjoys getting out for long walks. His previous owner would take him to dog paddocks often to allow him to be off lead and play with his toys.
Hamish has been in foster for a week, he was the perfect house guest but due to his strength he needed to come back into us, he is unsettled and not coping with kennel life so ideally we are looking for someone home majority of the day with a secure garden who would be happy to foster him for a couple of weeks with the view of adopting him.
If you could help this lovely boy through a uncertain time for him, please fill in an application today or call us to chat about Hamish.

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
