Description

Small but mighty Ted finds himself back with us for the third time, he is a wonderful boy who is looking for a quiet home where he can have zoomies in the garden and enjoy going for walks. He can show some possessive behaviours in the home particularly when the second person moves around the house. We feel the ideal home would be a single occupancy and as he is more confident around females we feel this would be an ideal home. Ted will need a separate area for example a stair gate in place for visitors so that he can still be there but not have the opportunity to show his possessive tendancies.

He is a wonderful dog who has even had a German shepherd stay with him at his recent home and played off lead in the paddock but he does have on going training needed with him in his next and hopefully his forever home. He goes for walks on site here with other dogs and is happy to socialise. Our training team will be able to provide support with his behaviour in the home but he does need someone patient and committed. We will still consider homes with two adults providing we can put measures in place to help Ted thrive.

This poor boy was tied to our gates one night, whilst his owners drove away. Can you help us to find him somewhere safe to call home?

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
