Description

Petite Poppy is a 18 month old collie, this youngster only weighs in at around 14kg!

This lovely little lady is full of energy and would benefit from an active home, she is still learning her manners and is currently working on not pulling on the lead, potential adopters would need to be willing to continue this training. Poppy is still investigating the world and can be nervous of new things (cars, busy places etc) but with a little time and patience we believe her confidence will grow.

Poppy has only been left for a maximum of two hours and would need time left alone to be built up gradually.

Poppy is very excitable and bouncy and whilst she does have the potential to live with older children, depending on successful viewings at Oak tree, adopters would need to be aware that she may accidently knock them over from time to time! Poppy has the potential to live with another dog depending on successful viewings here at Oak tree.

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
