Homing Criteria
We have two male and two female akita puppies looking for new homes. They will be ready for adoption next week, week commencing 14th July. They can go home with sociable neutered dogs, confident cats and children over 6 years old. They will need committed owners who will take them to regular training classes, continue their socialisation and start house training from the beginning.
Akitas make wonderful companions and they will be dogs who require multiple walks and enrichment, great adventure buddies for fell walking and dog activities.

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
