DUE TO A HIGH AMOUNT OF INTEREST, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW APPLICATIONS FOR OSCAR 2PM 18/1/24
Oscar is a 3 year old very handsome cocker spaniel who is on the lookout for a rather special home.
He is a sensitive lad and takes a while to trust new people. Right now we are currently working on building a relationship with him (with the help of some tasty sausage treats!) and he is slowly beginning to relax with us.
In his last home, he was affectionate and loved to cuddle up on the sofa. He travels well in the car and he can walk nicely on the lead when wearing a harness.
He would suit a quiet home with someone who can help build up his independence and confidence. Though he was left alone for up to a period of 2 hours in his last home, we are unsure how he would cope in a new environment therefore any potential adopter would need to be able to build up his time alone at his pace.
Oscar could potentially live with another chilled out dog. This would be dependent on how well meetings go on-site. He cannot live with cats.
Potential adopters would need to be willing to commit to multiple viewings.
Oscar is currently still under assessment so his re-homing requirements may change.
WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
