Homing Criteria

• Active home with someone around at least part of the day
• Owners happy to continue training
• Possibly could live with another dog
• No cats in home
• Adult home although older children 15+ may be possible
• Garden for off lead time 

Description

Meet our beautiful Ace, who is a 16 month old Collie x Saluki. He is a happy, friendly and very loving boy who is looking for a great home where he can go on lots of adventures.

Ace is one of our Home 2 Home dogs, which means that he is staying at home with his owners while we look for a perfect home. He comes to us every week for training, and all viewings will be here at Oak Tree as with our dogs in residence. It just means he enjoys the luxury of his own sofa whilst he waits for his perfect new home.

Ace is house trained and has previously spent some time left alone. We always advise adopters to build up being alone slowly until their new dog has settled in, but we anticipate he could be left around 3 hours. Ace has been around children which he loves, although he is an active dog who will need adopters who have time to spend on his exercise and training. For that reason, we would prefer a home with children 15+.

Ace has a generally calm manner and is lovely to take on long walks. He can get excitable around new people so needs a confident handler to help him to greet people appropriately. He is incredibly quick and willing to learn. Ace travels well in a car. He would love a secure garden to explore and run around in.

Ace may be able to live with another dog so long as introductions go well here. Ace goes to a local dog park with his owners and loves to run around playing with other dogs. He will benefit from activities that occupy him mentally and physically.

23/03/2024 Ace came along to our Dogs Day Out and had a great day meeting lots of people and dogs.
